Service Coordinator, for Alliance Services for TBI, Inc.
Ms. DeMadet began her service in the health field while still in high school. Whereas most look for employment in retail, Ashley knew she wanted a job that would make a direct impact on someone’s life. At 18 years old Ms. DeMadet took a hands-on position as a Certified Nurses Aid.
After working at a nursing home for two years, Ashley soon realized she needed a change in environment. Subsequently, she performed as a pharmacist technician where she learned about the medications prescribed to aid the sick Ashley worked so closely with.
While working with patients, she acquired a special interest in the brain and its functioning. This interest guided her to major in Psychology at Hunter College in New York City. Throughout her collegiate career Ashley continued to work with the ill.
After graduating with her bachelor’s Degree in psychology, Ashley decided to put her diploma to work.
“I loved working at a nursing home and helping my patients heal. That being said, I will do all I can to keep my loved ones from entering one. There are a lot of aspects that contribute to any person’s rehabilitation. Though medicine is powerful, it isn’t the cure-all. I believe that a positive community is crucial. Greatness is rarely accomplished alone.”
As hindsight is often 20-20, Ms. DeMadet references her past experiences to ensure her next step is optimal. Ashley is devoted to assisting others in a community that fosters positivity and healing. This commitment can be seen and felt by Ashley’s positive disposition. Ms. DeMadet’s next steps led her to the doors of Alliance Services for TBI, Inc. Similar to Ms. DeMadet, Alliance is keen on nursing home transition and providing individuals with the opportunity to recover in an environment they can call their own. Ms. DeMadet recognizes that an environment is more than just physical space, it’s also the people who are take up said space. With her current position as a Service Coordinator, Ashley helps to create a stable community for her clients. Ms. DeMadet’s knowledge and experience made her a perfect candidate for the Alliance Services for TBI, Inc team.
